Mark DeRosa: It goes without saying what you meant to my career and how you treated me from the first day I walked into Turner Field. I know you are riding off into the sunset. It will be tough to watch the Atlanta Braves play without number 10 at third base. But into Cooperstown you will go and hopefully I am there to watch you get enshrined.
Adam LaRoche: Chipper, Congrats on an unbelievable career. I owe a lot of where I am today and the things I’ve done to you because I’ve learned most of that from just being around you and watching the way you handle yourself. So good luck in your next phase. I look forward to spending a lot of times in the woods with you. And you know you always have an invite to come hunt out at the ranch. Love you buddy. Good luck.
